Linthicum Heights, Maryland, May 08, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- May xx, 2019 (LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Maryland) – MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), announced today that its subsidiary, Enlighten IT Consulting, LLC, (EITC) is offering comprehensive training for analysts, analytic developers, and system administrators on its Big Data Platform (BDP). Originally developed for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Enlighten’s BDP is a critical tool for defending U.S. Department of Defense networks. During training, attendees representing both government and commercial sectors participate in real-world cyber exercises on the platform developed by analytic experts in the field.

Last year, Enlighten personnel trained close to 400 intelligence and cyber analysts from multiple countries on BDP capabilities that included how to facilitate more effective Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) missions by hunting for cyber threats among massive amounts of data. Additionally, Enlighten has added two more course offerings in 2019 for developers and systems administrators. They include how to use platform technologies and data science tools to rapidly deploy analytics, and how to effectively install and maintain the BDP environment.

“We are thrilled to expand our course offerings as a way to continually promote and sponsor adoption of the BDP within the cyber and intelligence communities,” said Duane Shugars, Enlighten’s Senior Vice President and General Manager. “System administrators, developers, analysts, and other experts will gain insight into many aspects of BDP deployment and optimization including cyber hunting, analytic development, data science tools and other platform technologies.”

Training is offered at Enlighten’s state-of-the-art facility in Linthicum Heights, Maryland or at requested customer locations. For more information, visit https://training.eitccorp.com .
